Morning Work Book (MWB)
Today students explained their understanding of the nutrient cycle that pertains to our science learning.

Science
The students have had their fourth day working on science/literacy centers. They will continue with this center for the next few days and then we will rotate.
Centers:
1.Visual Vocabulary
2.Life of a Tree (tree cookies)
3.Legends

Students worked in groups to dramatize the concepts of: photosynthesis, nutrient cycle and tree cookie (inside of a tree).
Math
We continued to work in small groups today to find a solution to "how tall a stack of 1000 pennies would be", shared our ideas and came to a solution in large group. 

Social Studies
Students talked about how to make decision and reflected on what worked in small/large group discussions. We learned about three ways to make decisions (autocratic, democratic, consensus).
