Friday Journals
Part of our weekly writing and demonstration of things students have learned over the past week. Today the students had approximately half an hour to write about their week.  Please take time to read and respond to your child's journal.

Science
Students continue to work on science/literacy centers. They will continue with this center for the next several days and then we will rotate to the last center.
Centers:
1.Visual Vocabulary
2.Life of a Tree (tree cookies)
3.Legends

Social Studies
Today the students voted in the student vote for candidates in the local riding. Several students were chosen randomly to take on different roles in the process including: set up, handing out and initializing ballots, validating and checking names from lists. Results will be shared after the election on Monday.

-Halloween family dance Thursday October 24th 5:30-7:30 (see form coming home today) forms and payment due by October 23rd.
