Math
In our MWB we reviewed how to estimate and explain why and how we chose how to round our numbers up or down. Today we started our Math Journals. In these journals students demonstrate their understanding of concepts/objectives/topics/etc. by explaining and giving examples. They use numbers, words, pictures, graphs, tables, charts, diagrams, etc. In their journal there is a rubric to help guide them with expectations and marks.

Science/Literacy Centers
We are wrapping up our second center and will be starting the last rotation this week. We will be having a Tree & Forests Test within the next week.

Literacy
We finished reading 'Ugly' and the students are starting a VSJ page demonstrating their understanding. The have been asked to: summarize a favorite part, make a connection, reflect by answering and asking questions and design by choosing 10 words that describe the book for them.

Social
Today we began our review and teaching of the 7 Sacred Teachings.
