Today we had a practice lockdown around 9:00.

Morning Work Book (MWB)
Students chose one of the WE pillars and discussed their reasons for why they believe it to be the most important. https://www.we.org/our-work/we-villages/

Science
Students started working on second round of science/literacy centers. They will continue with this center for the next several days and then we will rotate to the last center.
Centers:
1.Visual Vocabulary
2.Life of a Tree (tree cookies)
3.Legends

Social Studies
Students have been learning about the different political parties over the last several days and researching their stance on a variety of topics. Students will participate in a student vote tomorrow and choose a candidate that is in the local riding.

All the grade 6 students joined together and voted for one of the WE pillars that we will be donating to as part of our social action.
