Math
Students are working on adding decimals and reading numbers with decimals. As part or our science learning, we are also using the City of Calgary Urban Forestry Website to recognize a variety of tree species and utilize math skills to add costs of different trees. 


Science
Students continue to work on science/literacy centers. They will continue with this center for the next several days and then we will rotate to the last center.

Reminders:
-Halloween family dance tomorrow Thursday October 24th 5:30-7:30. Grade 6s attending the dance are also volunteering for a shift (selling pizza/water/glow sticks) as part of 'giving back' and contributing to our social action work.
